WOW Philippines in England vs. Trinidad and Tobago International Football Match

A total of 4 million viewers tuned in to see England cruise to a 3-0 friendly victory against Trinidad and Tobago on Sunday. They also witnessed the WOWPhilippines Brand prominently displayed on the pitch as being the only tourist destination advertised during the match.

This goes a long way in our relentless campaign to position WOWPhilippines as a globally recognised brand and tourist destination.

Langun-Gobingob Caves - Calbiga, Samar

Extreme Caving

The Calbiga Cave, the Philippines?ˇ?Ú╝?ńˇ biggest karst formation and at 2970 hectares, one of the largest in Asia, is an adventurer?ˇ?Ú╝?ńˇs playground. It was only first systematically explored in 1987 by an eight-person team of Italian speleologists, and the main cave, Langun, has a chamber the size of three football fields.

Lion TV Productions recently set out to the Philippines to experience some of the world's ultimate travel experiences as part of The Rough Guide to Ultimate Escapes series. The climax of their expedition was extreme caving in the Lagun-Gobingob Caves in Calbiga. The series is due to be transmitted on Channel 5 in July at 8pm and will have an expected audience of 1 million viewers in the UK.
